I think Brett is doing a fantastic job. He definately has charisma. I have been a Doors fan since as far back as I can remember. I am also a Brett fan so this little arrangement has put a smile on my face. _________________ "Let it roll, baby, roll."

He's definitely exceeded my expectations. He really seems to be taking to the role quite nicely and he should only improve in time. I can't wait to hear his voice on the new songs as well _________________ I'm an eagle in the whirpool.

Hi, I have only recently popped my Riders' cherry at the Nottingham gig but have seen numerous clips on youtube and heard the recordings from this current tour and feel that even though Brett doesn't neccessarily sound like JDM he can work a crowd fantastically, like the ol' snake charmer himself. Brett also bringsd a bit of himself to the music which I think has helped endeer him to the fans super-quick, rather than be a carbon copy of Jim porturing and imitating his moves.

Ya know if Riders could play all instrumentals I'd be in heaven. Singers don't do much for me.
However I was impressed at how well Brett performed the songs. He was practically a natural. Ian who? Jim who? hahahaha

I am glad you said "Ian who? Jim Who? Moorish Idol . I was thinking the same thing but thought I would be banned from the forum for thinking such a thing out loud lol. Brett is just doing his thing and doing it very well. It is the charisma along with the voice. Like I said I am liking this a whole lot. _________________ "Let it roll, baby, roll." |

Great too read the comment on the front page saying the band are planning more shows for 2008. _________________ The Night is young

absolutely, I just love the new burst of life in the band which is quite evident in their future plans and their attitude at the most recent shows _________________ I'm an eagle in the whirpool.

Lets just hope to get lots more British dates, I was gutted about not making it to sheffield last wednesday- bloody freak weather, especially after reading such impressive reviews of the show. Nottingham was great but barely quenched my thirst and like a greedy hound I want more, more, more!
Does anyone think there will be any dvd releases of the shows? I have the LA Woman one with Ian, but it would be great to get a release to mark Brett's era. _________________ No More Orders From Above, Join The Revolution- Fall In Love! |
