After waiting a long time in front of the stage door, someone lent their VIP pass to me to get ROTS' autographs. I had my original Waiting for the Sun LP cover and the booklet from the 40th Ann. Mix of LA Woman. When I got downstairs to the 'party', Ray was sitting at a table talking to his brother Rick, and I tried to ask Ray for his autograph but Rick purposely stood in the way.
I turned around and there was Robby Krieger, so I got him to sign my stuff, then asked if I could also get Ray's sig. and he said, 'Yeah, where did Ray go?' I pointed to the dressing room Ray had just slipped into and Robby said, 'Just knock on the door'. So I approached the door, but Rick stopped me and I said, 'Robby said it's ok,' but he wouldn't let me. So I left shortly after.
